This building is very famous in Mexico City. It is Bellas Artes (Beautiful Arts), where the best known musical performances occur. The famous Balet Folklorico de Mexico has it's shows here. It is constructed of Marble and it is a beautiful building in it's own right. It has been around for a while and has survived a couple of major earthquakes, although not without some evidence. It has sunk a few inches and it is noticeable. The whole Quintero (Abe's Mom's side of the cousins) gang piled into a couple of cars and took several pictures here. Then we went to a nearby Churreria to enjoy some awesome hot chocolate and churros (a mexican pastry treat).
